* POWER CONNECTION PRAISES - First Reformed, Sully has 27 youth signed up for a faith growing experience at Power Connection and Power Connection Work Trip.  21 youth will be serving the communities in Kansas City on a volunteer work program July 24 – 27.  27 youth and 7 sponsors will be attending Power Connection, July 27 – 29, 2012. 
Anyone wanting to sponsor a youth to help them attend can donate money to Impact.  The cost per student is $120.  We have a few youth in need of assistance and are providing scholarship opportunities for them.

* Mission Trip Opportunity - Our March 10 - 17, 2012 work project will also be to the Birmingham, Alabama area rebuilding from tornado damage.  We have a number of confirmed participants.  We will be having an informational meeting after the morning worship TODAY in the southeast coatroom.  Registrations are due February 22.  This is a great opportunity to serve in the name of Jesus.   Contact Gary at 594-2967 or gdvangen@netins.net.

* Angel Tree Backpacks - Help to provide supplies for backpacks for the Angel Tree Children. This quarter the Sunday School will be collecting money for Angel Tree Backpacks.  With the money that is collected during Sunday School, supplies will be bought to pack backpacks for children that attend Angel Tree Camps. Angel Tree is a camp that is for children that have a parent(s) in prison. It is directed by Joe and Diane Brummel.  Thanks for all your support for our other Mission Project, now let’s see what we can do for the Angel Tree Kids!

* The deacons are now accepting bids for a new roof on the parsonage.  Bids should be submitted in writing to the church office or Jeff Vander Molen by March 1.  Any questions call Jeff Vander Molen at 641-891-6790.

* KIDS AGAINST HUNGER - Teams needed to help package food.  Teams consist of 12 members.  The Sully Community Center will be the site of the first of three packaging events sponsored by Jasper County Kids Against Hunger held Saturday, February 25, 9 am – 2 pm.  If you would like to be a part of this team, contact the church office at 594-2935 or frcsully@netins.net.

* INVITING ALL WOMEN FROM FRC - REAL WOMEN 2012  Women's Conference featuring Lisa TerKeurst, author of "Made to Crave" and ler latest book "Unglued" will be at Third Reformed Church in Pella on Octotober 27, 2012.  Tickets are $35.  Please sign up in the church office and make your check payable to Women with Purpose.  Payment and signup due by March 28.
