Thanks for all the prayers for my brother, Doug Bakker.  He had a gamma knife radiation on his brain February 10 with good results.  He will be starting chemo in 2 weeks.  We continue to ask for prayers for him and his family.

Praise:

• On February 4, we had an enjoyable evening of great food and fun games at "Date Night"!  We had 84 attend and 12 servers!  Thank you Fellowship Committee for planning  a great night!
• We Praise God and celebrate with Lu De Penning as she has received a "cancer free" report at her doctor visit this past week!
• Last week we sent out 21 Love packages to our college students!  Thank you to all who donated!
• Another great night of Kidz Movie Nite and Route 56.  We had 71 kids enjoy games and a movie in the k-4th grad Movie NIte and we had 44 5th -6th graders go roller skating and out for Pizza Hut pizza in Newton!  22 adults participated.  Everyone had a great time!

Christian Sympathy

• Our Christian sympathy is extended to Sophia Ann Swank and Dorothy Van Der Kamp in the death of their husband and brother, Marvin Swank.  Marvin passed away Sunday, February 12 at the Griffin Nursing Home in Knoxville, IA.  Funeral services were held Thursday, February 16 here at Sully FRC.
• Our Christian sympathy is extended to Dave & Karla Winegar in the death of Dave's brother Marvin Winegar who passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012.  Funeral services were held Saturday, February 18 at Bethany Reformed Church in Des Moines.
